Nowadays, digital cameras have become extremely advanced and some even have a GPS receiver that can include the location where the photo was taken in the file EXIF information. Unfortunately, digital cameras that have this function are not many and they are also expensive. Fortunately, there is a solution for including the geographical location into photos, after they are taken. The solution is using a software like Picmeta PhotoTracker. It's basically a program that can include GPS information from various files into multiple photos at once. These GPS files can be easily generated by software like Google Maps or from some navigation devices.

The software is not difficult to install and can be run on any versions of Windows, including XP and Windows 7. It takes up about 4 MB of hard disk and requires low system resources.

The interface of Picmeta PhotoTracker is extremely simple. It basically includes three buttons, one for locating the GPS file, the other one for selecting the image folder and the last but not least, for initializing the actual process. After completing the process, every image in the selected folder will have GPS information that can be read using selected image viewers.

Pros

It has a simple interface that allows even beginners to use it. Furthermore, it allows adding GPS information to many images at once by selecting the image folder.

Cons

The program doesn't allow adding images one by one. Besides that, the number of options is extremely limited. Picmeta PhotoTracker is the right software for adding GPS information to any image file.
